On the Diva Tip

Lets take a departure from my normal food obsessed post to give a few tips for the summer and all around help!

Now that sunless tanners are ALL the rage- it's a good opportunity for me to talk about another aspect that deserves some thought-- your face.
There are several options to consider when trying to match your face to your body (please don't tell me you're not trying):

There is of course sunless tanner for face. I would recommend Jergens - Natural Glow Face. It's got moisturizer in it, that prevents splotchy-ness and there are a variety of color options for different skin tones.

Of course some people (like myself) either have very sensitive skin or are unsure about putting such a product on their face, but there are still OPTIONS!! Don't give up- and definitely DON'T skip it. Light face+dark body= weird

There are a slew of bronzing products you could use instead- I really like Physicians' Formula- they have several different varieties but all of them look great!
Just don't go crazy! A little goes a LONG way with bronzers. You want to put them in the typical places you would normally tan, with a fat brush if you have one. The cheek bones (if you don't know where yours are, smile when you put it on, that goes for blush too. Just start on the apple of your cheek and brush upward toward your ear), a little on the forehead, end of your chin, and down the sides of your nose. People will be asking if you just came back from vacation in no time!!

One other options- which just happens to be the one I've used today- is tinted moisturizer. They come in very universal shades, most have sunblock in them (which I LOVE) and are a great alternative to foundation. You can't beat that deal!

I've been using Estee Lauder's - Daywear Plus but that's only cause I used to work for them and it was free.
If you don't have $30 to drop on Ol' Estee, I'm sure Covergirl and the like, make something very similar, just don't forget your SPF!!

Next Wednesday look for my food review of McDonald's Asian Chicken Salad!

Smooches!
